I received my TV March 2cd, 2010! I hooked this Tv up to my Comcast HD cable and the picture is amazing! Words cannot discribe how much I am enjoying this TV! My husband was the one who told me to buy it and I am so happy that he did! I have always been a fan of Samsung. I bought a 40inch Samsun LCD from Amazon last year as a mother's day gift to myself and have been enjoying that TV also, but this Tv shows a much better picture than my Samsung 40inch LCD and I didn't think that Samsung could do much better! I was wrong people!
This Tv is so amazing that I have it hooked up to a regular Sony 5 disk DVD player and I am telling you all that my old dvd movies on an old DVD player looks like an HD movie! Unbelevable! How is that possible? This TV is one of the great loves of my life! I have this baby hooked up to a sony surround sound system and everyone that comes over says that they feel like they are at the show! I know what they mean! My husband and I have been watching a new movie on this bad boy everyday since we got it!
The remote is great! I LOVE IT! The remote has a lot of command buttons on it. The color is beautiful. I love the night light on the remote. The remote fits well in your hands.
Another reason why I bought this Tv is because I wanted a touch of color (red)! I have red drapes in my living room where this Tv is resting at and it looks amazing! At first when I first saw the touch of color a year ago in red I thought what a crazy idea for a TV cabinet! Boy was I wrong! This touch of color makes the TV stand out and looks that much more expensive!
I haven't hooked any game units to this tv yet so I cannot speak on it or a BluRay but when I do I will give you all an update about the picture quality. If you are looking to purchase a TV than look nowhere else! This Tv is the one for you! It has a lot of HDMI outlets for all of you entertainment needs. It has a USB outlet and many more outlets. This TV is a one stop shop! Buy it now!

Great tv! The picture is really nice and clear and we haven't had any problems. I was a little skeptical of the "touch of red" feature, but you can barely see it, especially when the tv is on.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this tv, read a whole lot of reveiws and I am very happy with my choice.Very easy to set up with the plug and play and an awsome picture....

I received this TV the Monday after the Super Bowl. Go figure. Pretty easy to hook up but was really surprised how bad the picture looked. Went to samsung website and figured out the Dish Network box was in 480 and the TV beibng 1080 was casuing some problems. Very blurred pictures. Had to have a 1 hour conversation with dish to try and get an HDTV box at no charge. That's not a good experience and I've been with them for many years and pay annually. Once the HDTV receiver was in place we could see a huge differnce. Colors are great. Blu Ray is unbelievable. My only complaints are two fold. One, the sound is only adequate. I'll have to have a surround sound system of some type to enjoy it fully. The second is that you can't dial this tv in for all channels. Some are better than others no matter what settings you use. May just be life in the DISH world. Go aheaad and get the HDTV or you'll be disappointed.

This TV has eye popping clarity. We have Verizon FIOS and HD set top box and the picture is vivid, the colors, including black, make you feel like you are in the picture, instead of just watching it. The picture from the BluRay player is even better. If you are thinking of buying an LCD set, this is the one. Don't hold back, get the 52".
My wife believed this new set was just a waste of money, but now recognizes what a great value it is and searches for HD programming to take advantage of the 16:9 aspect ratio. Even the old black and white shows are more vivid on this set.

Consumer Reports Says: Buy HDTV at Amazon!
Washington, D.C. (October 31, 2008) -- When it comes to price, Consumer Reports says shoppers are most likely to find the best deals online. And the publication called three ecommerce sites "standouts" in this year's Consumer Reports ratings of electronics stores: Amazon.com, Crutchfield.com and B&H (bhphotovideo.com)
The magazine's survey was based on more than 38,000 purchases of electronics, including flat-screen TVs, between January 2007 and June 2008. The report indicated that online stores consistently offered better prices. (The magazine's full report can be found in its December 2008 issue.)
"Buying online can be better," the magazine said in a press release. "The higher-rated electronics retailers in Consumer Reports annual reader survey are Web sites. Readers who bought online rated their overall satisfaction at 90 out of 100 -- higher than those who bought in a store. Additionally, many Web merchants offer free shipping, even on TVs, which could spare the hassle of struggling to fit a bulky carton in the car or paying a local store for delivery."
Consumer Reports said that while no single retailer scored excellent in all shopping categories, Amazon.com and Crutchfield.com came closest.
