4Slower than molasses running uphill  May 17, 2010
I don't have much to complain. The player has good audio and video quality which is the main thing. However there's one thing that has been angering me every single time I use it for almost 2 years I had this thing, and just as much: it's slow. It's not just "could be faster" slow. It's "oh my god, will it ever start!!!" slow. It's so slow you can watch your children grow, your hair go grey in the mirror, the earth continents shift slow. It's so slow, you can cook a dinner and have a party and then have a good night sleep before it loads. It's so slow... well, you get a picture. This and ergonomic nightmare of a RC... Every time I put a disc into it... 5 minutes later my blood pressure goes up 10%. If it's something you think you could live with... get this player.

5Great Blu Ray player. Lots of freebies  May 14, 2010
Great BR player. I got it with lots of freebies - 5 movies and 2 more that I got through the coupon.

5good blue ray  Apr 06, 2010
still working like a charm after 2 years. more up to date ones out there now though.

5Amazing Picture - My Favorite Investment  Mar 29, 2010
Not all Blu-Ray players are created equal, and the DMP-BD35 is the Rolls Royce of its price class. The picture is incredibly clear, the colors are rich, the sound is amazing. Not to mention it upconverts my older DVDs, and makes them look even better.

I'm an Amazon-verified buyer of this amazing Blu-Ray player. As someone who loves watching movies on a daily basis, it's simply one of the best investments I have ever made. No freezing, no loading issues, it does what it's suppose to do. I've seen other Blu-Ray players on similar 1080p LCD sets like mine, and none seem to have the edge that Panasonic does.

I'm picky when it comes to electronics, and I do my homework. The positive reviews for this product are dead-on, you're simply not going to find a better Blu-Ray player for under $400.

5Great Job!  Mar 16, 2010
Player was a year old and used when purchased. Sellers stated that there was nothing wrong with the player but since it was still in warranty they sent it in and the motor was completely replaced by Panasonic. I've never had a blue ray but from what I've seen it works great, solid(doesn't seem cheep), great remote. Quiet. Definitely happy/satisfied.

Consumer Reports Says: Buy HDTV at Amazon!

Washington, D.C. (July 2010) -- When it comes to price, Consumer Reports says shoppers are most likely to find the best deals online. And the publication called three ecommerce sites "standouts" in this year's Consumer Reports ratings of electronics stores: Amazon.com, Crutchfield.com and B&H (bhphotovideo.com)

The magazine's survey was based on more than 38,000 purchases of electronics, including flat-screen TVs, between January 2009 and June 2010. The report indicated that online stores consistently offered better prices. (The magazine's full report can be found in its July 2010 issue.)

"
Buying online can be better," the magazine said in a press release. "The higher-rated electronics retailers in Consumer Reports annual reader survey are Web sites. Readers who bought online rated their overall satisfaction at 90 out of 100 -- higher than those who bought in a store. Additionally, many Web merchants offer free shipping, even on TVs, which could spare the hassle of struggling to fit a bulky carton in the car or paying a local store for delivery."

Consumer Reports said that while no single retailer scored excellent in all shopping categories, Amazon.com came closest.
